Crescent MOON French Vintage to Art Deco Rose Cut Diamond Figural Stud Earrings 18k White Gold Unique Celestial Gift Earstack

Fun figural crescent moon stud earrings. I love the way these were fabricated with the ear post in the center of the moon so that you can spin them any which way that works best for your earstack!
These are crafted in 18k white gold and set with rose cut diamonds to catch the light and sparkle. The push backs are the Alpa brand with the push buttons to secure them at the end of the earring post. They are spring loaded with little “buttons” on each side so you squeeze the push back to run it down the post. They can be pushed in all the way to the back of the earring, and do have some tension to stay there but if they do slide, they are in No danger of falling off because with the push buttons, they latch onto a little catch at the end of the ear post, meaning the push backs cannot be removed unless you manually press those little buttons on each side. This is a common fabrication for French vintage earrings so I come across them a lot. About the most secure you can get in terms of push backs.
Please note the measurements - again exact carat weight cannot be known without removing them which would ruin the settings.
Found in France. The Alpa push backs are also stamped for 18k gold.
Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

The moons are 12x10mm.
The pair weighs 3.3b grams combined.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
You can see the white gold welds where the ear posts connect to the moons so it's possible they were converted from something else.
These definitely have an antique look to them. With the spready rose cuts catching the light. These are the more thinly sliced rose cuts that we often see and they definitely appear rough cut with some natural inclusions, frosty spots, irregular edges and a bit of warmth. They are not thickly domed, bright white or crystal clear, but were likely always cut this way as they are small and just meant to add a glint of sparkle.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
