ABOUT:
The perfect combo of geometry, glow and Sparkle!! This diamond tennis necklace has 135 round brilliant cut diamonds totaling 5.4 carats, all set in shimmering yellow gold hexagonal shaped settings. For movement, it is fabricated with bar "links" where sections of three diamond set hexagons or fixed together, and connected to the next in panels, however when worn it appears as one continuous chain. All set in glowing 18k yellow gold.
Another thing I love about this one is it is fabricated to Always face up and lie flat around the neck, so it never rolls or flips. Nice and sturdy weight and 16.5 inches in length makes it a great one to layer. With all the sparkle it is quite impactful but would also look fabulous dressed down for a more minimalist statement if desired.
Found in France with a European symbol hallmark on the tongue insert of the clasp for 18k gold. It has a safety hook that clasps into a little bead on the other side for additional safety.
Props and additional items not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 24.1 grams. It is 16.5 inches in length. The links are 4.1mm north south, 2.7mm deep off the neck and each link of three is about 10mm but appear continuous / individual.
Each diamond measures about 2.2mm in diameter, give or take for a total of around 5.4 carats total weight in diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No notable damage to the chain, it is very nice quality with a sturdy hand feel and amazing sparkle. One diamond has a natural carbon inclusions leading it to read a bit gray to the eye. Aside from that, just faint natural inclusions, a frosty speck here or there. All bright and lively and well matching. Clasp and safety hook function well.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
