Vintage French 18k Gold Solid Eye Clean .72 Carat Eight Stone Older Brilliant Cut Diamond Chunky Stacker Eternity Band Ring

Here's another fun stacker! This chunky band has a nice thickness to almost wear as a donut with eight older brilliant cut diamonds interspersed between the gold all the way around. This one can add the sparkle layered with another gold band, or stacked multiple deep with other diamond bands, each slightly different.

Vintage piece found in Paris. The diamonds have the frosted girdle for stones cut in the old way before modern technology.

Beautiful to stack, also interesting worn alone as it has a nice geometry and a good weight and sturdiness.

Found in Paris with the French hallmark for 18k gold - you can see it on the outside of the band in the pics - so just note that this is not damage but an intentional hallmark.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7. The diamonds are about 3.1 mm each, all appearing well matching in size to the eye. I do not remove stones from settings for exact weight but estimated carat weight is about .85 to just under one carat total weight in diamonds.
3.25mm north south and 2.5mm thick deep.
It weighs 5.1 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The diamonds are bright and for the most part eye clean with just a few speck inclusions, no dark or glaring carbon and nothing that jumps out. The bezels are in good shape. Under magnification they can read a bit gray, some of this is from build up inside the setting. I gave it a gentle cleaning but it could use a bit longer soak. Also may be how they reflect the light nesting within the band as they do. Lovely sparkle, very sturdy piece.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
