ABOUT:
Beautiful Victorian to Edwardian antique Old Mine Cut five stone diamond ring in 18k gold set in an extra sturdy pronged setting. Lovely sparkle and that delicious antique 18k gold. A sweetie for stacking in the timeless and sought after antique five stone form totaling almost half a carat.
This one is ready for daily wear for Generations! The setting and stones are all antique, but the setting was reinforced so each stone is set with long and sturdy prongs on each side so this is one you can put on and never take off, and pass down two generations and it will still be ready to wear!
Antique hallmarks for 18k gold.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size: 7
Diamond: The old mine cuts are 4mm at the largest, graduating slightly down in size to 3.4mm and 2.6mm at the end. With the ring totaling a little over .7 carat. This is an estimate as I would not remove them from the setting for exact weights.
Ring face: 5.2mm north south
Height off finger: 4mm tall.
Weight: 4.1g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Extra super duper sturdy for 24/7 wear. One diamond second from the end has a notch to the girdle but fills the setting and is not glaring. It is in the place of a carbon and crystal inclusion formation. One end stone also has a gray carbon inclusion but the stone is small and held in the gold so it isn't super distracting.
Under magnification the other diamonds have natural frosty inclusions typical for antique diamonds but more just a speck here or there, some are eye clean.

But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
